A group of people by the names of Bill Faulkner, Dick Woolwine, Skip Carter, Ross Sumner and many more formed TVPBC. It was host to many races over the years including Huntsville, Al. Guntersville, Al. Decatur, Al. Scottsboro,Al. Florence, Al. About 1978 the name was changed to Alabama Powerboat Association. My Uncle Jerry put the 1973 APBA Modified Outboard Nationals on and that was the last time the APBA Mod Nationals were in Alabama. We are back and promoting outboard racing once again.
